Urban Flavors Gourmet (“UFG,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) carefully prepares and ships perishable gourmet food products. Please review our shipping terms before placing an order.
1. Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the United States. Availability of shipping to certain states may be limited based on carrier service levels and food safety transit times.
We do not ship internationally at this time.
2. Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days after payment is received.
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day
• During peak seasons, promotions, or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly longer
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
3. Shipping Methods
Because our products are perishable, we use temperature-conscious packaging and shipping methods that may include:
• Insulated liners
• Gel packs or dry ice (when needed)
• Expedited transit services
Shipping methods are selected based on destination and product type to help maintain product quality during transit.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times depend on your location and the shipping option selected at checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. UFG is not responsible for delays caused by:
• Weather events
• Carrier disruptions
• Holidays
• Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
5. Shipping Days
To protect product freshness, we may ship orders Monday through Wednesday only to reduce the risk of weekend transit delays. Orders placed later in the week may ship the following week.
6. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.
If an incorrect address is entered:
• We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages
• Additional shipping fees may apply to reship an order
• Perishable products returned due to address errors are not eligible for refunds
7. Delivery Responsibility
Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier:
• Responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer
• Customers should promptly retrieve packages and refrigerate or freeze products immediately
Urban Flavors Gourmet is not responsible for:
• Packages left outdoors
• Stolen packages after delivery
• Spoilage due to delayed retrieval
8. Temperature & Product Condition
Our products are packed to remain safe during normal transit conditions. Slight thawing of frozen items or cool (not ice-cold) gel packs upon arrival does not automatically indicate spoilage.
If you believe your order arrived in unsafe condition, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can review the situation.
9. Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:
• Destination
• Package weight
• Shipping speed
Occasionally, we may offer promotional or flat-rate shipping offers, which will be clearly stated on our website.
10. Delayed, Lost, or Stolen Packages
If your tracking shows a delay or exception:
• Please contact the carrier first for updates
• If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located, you must file a claim with the carrier
Urban Flavors Gourmet is not liable for carrier delays, lost shipments, or stolen packages once delivery is confirmed.
11. Order Issues
If you experience a shipping-related issue involving damage or incorrect items, please refer to our Refund Policy and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
